The little town of Graton is just a dot on the Sonoma County map, but it boasts one of our favorite spots to stop for lunch when we are headed out to the coast: Willow Wood Market. We almost always order off the specials menu when we go, and recently the fish stew was a knockout favorite. If they have it on the menu….definitely order it!
Here is what the Michelin Guide had to say about Willow Wood Market:
“Good, down-home comfort food is dished up with genuine hospitality at this tiny roadside eatery. Your first impression may be an old-fashioned soda fountain, but it doubles as a general store, brimming with local food items, wines, and kitschy souvenirs. Super kid-friendly Willow Wood serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, focusing on the kind of food you’d expect from a friend’s mom in the good old days.”
